# Installation

This chapter guides you through the installation of BDeploy. At the end you will have the backend and the frontend up and running so that you can start deploying your applications.

Note

The source distribution of BDeploy contains a demo server that can be started with ./gradlew runDemoServer. The example data is reinitialized with each server start.
